Ghanaian Bolga Petite Kettle Basket Assorted

Beautiful artisan iconic woven baskets from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana. They are handcrafted  from colorfully-dyed elephant grass. Weavers create this smaller version of a traditional kettle basket with a pear-shaped bottom and a swing handle. Bolga baskets are made to be used, while remaining functional and beautiful for years. Each basket is unique in assorted colors and patterns.

NOTE: We ship Bolga baskets FLATTENED into a box, to save on shipping costs. You can shape your basket by wetting the straw and shaping the basket with your hands, then allowing it to dry.
